What is Psychometric Test?
Psychometric tests or evaluations provide HR professionals with in-depth insights into a candidate’s abilities, skills, personality traits, and overall attitude. These assessments fall into three main categories: aptitude tests, behavioral tests, and assessment center exercises. Designed to evaluate a person's thinking ability, knowledge, and practical reasoning, psychometric tests often include personality questionnaires, situational judgment assessments, critical thinking tasks, numerical and verbal reasoning, and various other skill-based evaluations.
