Bonus

What is a bonus?

A bonus is an additional payment made to employees on top of their regular wages or salary. It can be performance-based, awarded for meeting certain goals or milestones, or given as part of profit-sharing. Bonuses are often used as incentives to boost motivation and retain employees and can be offered in various forms, such as cash, stock options, or gifts. Companies may offer bonuses periodically (e.g., yearly or quarterly) or in response to a specific achievement or organizational success.
